Recently I got accepted into the 6th annual juried exhibition, “50/50: 50 small artworks in 50 days”, at the Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica, California.
California artists will create 50 small works (6″ x 6″) over the course of 50 days. Each artist chooses a theme (no more than 10 words) for all 50 pieces, and uses from 1 to 3 medium(s) throughout the 50-piece series.
The exhibition runs from August 22 – September 28, 2014.
Art making for all 69 accepted artists begins with Day 1 of 50 on Monday, June 9, 2014, and ends on Day 50 of 50 on Monday, July 28, 2014.
All artworks are for sale as a fund-raising event for the Sanchez Art Center. Artists receive 70% of sales prices on all works.
