Today I went to a Breema bodywork workshop in Oakland. The Breema Nine Principles of Harmony are a constant companion in my massage practice, my music improvisation, and my art. So happy to get a dose of the Breema energy and presence.

I was also very happy to come home and see that my new art supply storage cart (from IKEA) had been assembled for me! ♥

Wrote this down in response to the realization that what I love about art is you ask by making. There is no other answer than what happens when you do it.

Answering the question, “What happens when I wet a block of watercolor paper, then go over it with Derwent Inktense blocks?”
Tomorrow, follow-up on the things that came in while I was on retreat…and back to art-making!
P.S. Had to share this photo from yesterday:
Great shot by my friend Bissy Ree who elbowed her way in front to capture the violin moment during “One Love” at ULUV Music Day
