Day 12 of 50: Packing up and going home

First I’ll show some of the work I did yesterday afternoon and evening. It was a good day of work, rest, wandering, and more work:

This morning I woke up, did yoga and meditation, made a list of self-acknowledgments from the retreat, then started packing for home. I left around 11. Crossed the Golden Gate Bridge around 12:30. It was a clear, sunny day all along the coast. Stopped for a kale salad and did some sketching at a restaurant:

Then I arrived home. Made a sketch of the first things I noticed that signaled “home” for me, what I appreciate about it especially after enjoying the time away, being on my own rhythm:

Arriving home and appreciating the sensations

I guess I'm home now

Here are some other sketches from the retreat:

And a little self-acknowledgment once I got home:

  1. Wow – explosion of productivity. Not compared to your real capacity. Compared to previous trapped. Looking forward to next days of art…..
