Coincidence (or not!) that this was the daily affirmation to begin my 50|50 challenge:
Leftover paint is always a new source of inspiration. Here I practice with different bleeds on a background of modeling paste on canvas paper.
After working so small, I felt like making some big gestures and scribbling on a page without any pressure. So I got out my 9″x12″ sketchbook and drew a scene from earlier in the day, when I walked the labyrinth at a local park, while two guys ran a set of remote control cars all around me. I call it, “Seeking Quiet”:
